I've been working more and more in Blender recently, and I've got to say I'm really liking it. My weapon of choice is usually MAX, but I'm trying to get a feel for Blenders capabilities as I think it has so much potential. I wanted to try out the re-mesher high poly workflow and use Blenders core hard surface toolset, so ended up building another WW2 era weapon. I wanted to make a game ready asset using a single 4K texture and the aim was to really push the realism, so I'm also using good old Substance Painter, UE5 with Pathtracer and Megascan assets to mass out the scene.
